Easy & Delicious Lasagna Skillet

Easy Lasagna Skillet

It’s been so fun lately learning about the Wildtree products my friend Lindsey sells. I love seeing them put to use, as it gives me great ides for family mealtime. I’ve never been much of a cook.. I prefer baking a loaf of banana bread over cooking a meal any day. Dinner can definitely be a struggle, either I’m not sure what to make, or I need ingredients, etc. We recently made a lasagna skillet on the stove, and not only was it incredibly easy to make, but it was enjoyed by everyone. What I love most with this skillet, is the process of making it is so simple — and it tastes great! It reminds me of a de-constructed cheeseburger. Another great perk:  you only need to purchase 4 additional products. That’s it. Keep scrolling for the recipe & thanks for reading!

WILDTREE LASAGNA SKILLET MEAL RECIPE: (taken from the product packaging, link here)

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package Wildtree’s Lasagna Skillet Meal
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (note: we used gluten free, and it was delicious! I couldn’t tell a difference)
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can no salt added tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and saute ground meat until cooking through, drain and return to pan. Stir in water, tomatoes, Lasagna Skillet Meal, and elbows. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Once the sauce is boiling, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 11-13 minutes or until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, uncover, top with mozzarella cheese, and let set for 2-3 minutes. The sauce will thicken as it cools. Serves 5.

The box contains two servings, and can be purchased HERE for just $10!

Lindsey made a delicious salad. It was so tasty! We used my favorite dressing, Salad Girl ‘Fresh Organic Crisp Apple Maple Vinaigrette’. It’s my new favorite that I discovered from A Blessed Nest Blog.

I can’t get enough of it! If you’re in Minnesota, Iowa, or other surrounding states, checkout your local grocer for it!
